The week after Christmas my family and I took a spontaneous trip down to Florida and decided just to get away from the snow for a few days and travel around see what we could do. The trip itself was amazing and we had a great time in St. Augustine with the Alligator Farm and Marineland, staying in State Parks all across the way, visiting Ernest Hemingway's House in the Keys, walking up to the Southernmost Point of the United States, driving through the Everglades, exploring a turtle hospital, drinking butter beer in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, building campfires, taking hikes to natural monuments, watching the sunset, and finally ending it with the celebration of New years with plastic Pepsi cups and couple sips of Sparkling Cider in the car on the ride home before closing my eyes once more for the rest of the 13 hour drive.
So, as you can see I've been pretty busy these past few days. It's honestly really hard to remember a dream unless you can wake up and immediately think about what just went on within your brain. That's why it's so much easier for me at school because I can spill the contents of my night to my roommate as soon as I wake up. She's pretty cool about listening too haha I can be thankful for that.
That's why my blog hasn't been doing much lately. I did happen to record one of my dreams on my itouch from the car ride down to the Sunshine State that stood out in my mind. Here goes:
The crick in my neck would come every once in a while but when it arrived, it was intense. My head almost felt super glued to my right shoulder when it happened. It wasn't as painful as it was just straight up inconvenient. I mean I couldn't turn my head to the left or right without moving my entire body with it. That was the the real problem. Anyway so I was just minding my own business with my head resting on my own shoulder, walking down a snowy street taking in the sights when A small kid passed me walking down the street, dragging his boots in the snow. I glanced back to where he came from and I saw a second boy standing in the street. He glanced up at the light post right next to him, paused and then sprinted passed me after the first character. At this point, I was a little confused. I turned around see where they went but all I could see were the remains of a rundown church. I blinked a few times, and woke up.
